    The shift

Salesloft was built for the era of sequencing.

Salesloft is the category leader of the last era. The motion it was built for assumed dedicated SDRs running long, mostly human-written sequences, a separate provider for contact data, a separate dialer, and an annual contract held together by a customer success manager. AI was added on top of that platform later, not designed into it.

The category has moved. Today's outbound runs on AI deciding who is worth working, when to work them, and what to send. The buyer wants the dialer in the same tool, the data in the same tool, the qualification reasoning in the same tool, and a contract that doesn't punish them for shrinking the team. That gap is where Strama lives.

    What reviewers are saying

It's an execution tool, not an intelligence tool.

    What changes when you switch

Four reasons teams move from Salesloft to Strama.

    01

    Intelligence, not just execution.

The most repeated theme in 2026 Salesloft reviews is that the platform tells reps how to reach out, but does not decide who is worth reaching out to or when. Rhythm is positioned as the signal-to-action engine, but independent testing on a 25-person, 40,000-touchpoint deployment reported it working effectively only about 70% of the time. Strama answers the three questions Salesloft does not answer well: Lead Scout finds the right buyers. Watchtowers surface buying signals as they happen. Scorecards grade every account against your fit criteria with reasoning. Style Guide writes in your team’s voice using deep research on the prospect.

    Conversations doesn't work at all.

    All-in pricing, no surprise tax.

Salesloft customers describe a stack of grievances around pricing, not one. The phone dialer is a paid add-on. There is no built-in contact database, so customers also pay for ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar on top, which independent analyses note can exceed the cost of Salesloft itself. Reviewers report multi-year contracts with annual price increases, 60-day cancellation windows, and auto-renewal terms that are easy to miss. Strama publishes per-seat pricing on the website. Dialer included. Sourcing and enrichment included. One seat or a hundred. Monthly or annual.

Live in days, not eight months.

Time to value is a wedge. The reviewer pattern is consistent: onboarding described as unnecessarily complicated, configuration time capped at a small number of one-on-one sessions, customers cycling through multiple customer success managers in a single year, and named integrations like HubSpot and Salesforce that require regular reconnection. Trustpilot reviewers report cases where the platform was still not working as intended eight months in. Strama is built to send in minutes. Founder-led setup. The integrations are part of the product, not a partner ecosystem to manage on top.

Onboarding was unnecessarily complicated, with one of the worst experiences reported.

    Sending infrastructure that doesn't break.

Deliverability is one of the recurring operational complaints in Salesloft reviews, with one aggregated customer report citing a 20 to 25% rate of bulk emails landing in spam or being rejected. Reviewers also describe slowness in pre-scheduled email and dialer behavior that does not respect configured defaults. Strama treats sending infrastructure as a job, not a checkbox. Managed Inboxes provisions dedicated domains and inboxes, warms them automatically, and monitors reputation continuously. Sender Identities make it a one-click setup for SDRs to send on behalf of executives or founders.
